My Creative Space: Retrospective

My creative space this week is dead in the water.  Still knackered from our recent merrymaking, I've been in bed by 9 every night since, and even then I've caught myself nodding off at the supper table!  So... join me as I  gaze fondly back at some of the goodies the girls and I cranked out this summer.

Bottlecaps.  More resin filled bottlecaps than any sane person could imagine.  (And more toxic resin fumes than any sane person would willingly encounter, I might add.)  Bottlecap mirrors.  Bottlecap charm bracelets.  Bottlecap magnets.  And, of course, the ubiquitous bottlecap necklace.  Good times!
Washer jewelry.  We raised the humble washer to new heights this summer, and I get a ridiculous number of compliments on mine every time I take it out in public. I just found a new variation for next year:  wrapped with embroidery floss!

Wire and beads.  These puppies are 100% addictive, and they work up quick and pretty.  I made the three pictured here on the bus ride to Hershey Park. (With our fabulous driver Amy-Jose'!)

I'll try to put together something new and shiny for next week, but for now, it's just good to be back.  Stop by Kirsty's for more scintillating spaces...

  7. The washer necklace is great...it goes wonderfully with the whistle round your neck. Is that just to keep all your kids in check...I think I need one.

Thanks for taking the time to comment...it makes me feel a little less like I'm talking to myself again.
