I'd Like to Thank The Academy...

Well, not really.  But I would like to thank the lovely Cate for bestowing upon me my very first blog award!  Cate's blog chronicles a year in the life of a crafty, inspiring, witty mom to three kiddos, and is one of my regular reads.



As a recipient of The Stylish Blogger Award, one must:
1. thank and link back to the blogger who nominated you

So, seven things:

1. I can't parallel park.
2. I'm a Gleek.
3. I'm a newly-minted jewelry-making-addict.
4. I have a ridiculously large collection of children's books.

6. I eat my french fries with ketchup and mayo.

    Not sure about mayonaise & tomato sauce on chips, wow, that is stomach stamina!!
    Parallel parking, i'm the Queen & drive a huge 4WD - i'm so good even my husband lets me park for him, that is a huge testiment to his manliness letting his wife park the family car - plenty of practise!! I have a formulae, from my driving instructor when i was 17, it's failsafe & works on any car!! Love Posie

    I can't believe that's your first award, Wendy! I loved your 'seven things'. I'm a fellow Gleek. LOML and I never miss a show and can regularly be seen singing and dancing up a storm along with New Directions! I also love Neil and Kenny and, um, I'm off to google Bananagrams... x

    thanks so much Wendy, what an honour. it's the first time I think I've ever been called stylish.
    Love your blog and you always make me smile ( i just wish I could email sometimes after the comments you leave)
    I have a ridiculously large collection of kids books too, and no kids!
