My Creative Space: In for a Penny...

I'm doing lots of stressing in my space this week.  I applied yesterday for my tax ID number, and am working at putting together an Etsy shop.  It feels like there's an undoable amount to accomplish---writing item descriptions, taking decent photos, figuring out packaging, making a banner...and yeah, making stuff.
I've been playing around with a few ideas for days, and I was happy to give them a go today.

I mod-podged a wooden bead.  With an ancient dictionary, no less.

And check out these beads made from upcycled security envelopes:

My little assistant "helped" me with these...she waited till I'd painstakingly sliced all of the envelopes into bead-sized strips, then used her extensive glue-stick skills (and a stack of my bead-strips) to create this fabulous collage.
I guess I'm grateful she hasn't borrowed the blowtorch.

Thanks for taking the time to comment...it makes me feel a little less like I'm talking to myself again.
