I’m flying. For the first time in more than 5 years, actually, and the short person beside me is contentedly covering her exposed body parts with Hello Kitty bandaids. I’ve managed to escape similar adornment by virtue of the fact that everything is so novel ---a tray table! A window-shade! A voice from the heavens! A barf bag!---that Shani ‘s been wholly absorbed by the experience.
We’re headed to Tampa to spend some time with my family, none of whom have yet met my small traveling companion. In any case, I expect that my blogging will be a bit sporadic this week. Try and manage without me for the time being, and I’ll tell you all about it once we’re home.
