MAZEL TOV!!! And to the hens! What are you going to do with this prize first egg?
Hooray!! Lets hope its the beginning of loads more to come, yummo!
The much-prized First Egg went to our fabulous across-the-street neighbor, EJ, who graciously fed, watered, and loved on the chooks while we were in Milwaukee and while Jess was picking us up from camp. :)
The chook layed an egg, The chook layed an egg, hi-ho the dairy-o, The chook layed an egg! (They are dairy aren't they?-But, doesn't that cause confusion down the line?)
Isn't it a lovely feeling?
Mazel tov! That is so exciting!Enjoy it, the pullet eggs are always the best of all.How on earth did you decide what to do with it?
Thanks for taking the time to comment...it makes me feel a little less like I'm talking to myself again.
