The only creativity around here this week has been in the kitchen. As our move date approaches, I find myself offering up clever use-up-what-we've-got sort of menu selections.
"What'll it be, guys? Cream of Wheat and Salmon Surprise or Broccoli-Craisin Wontons?"
Check out some real creative spaces over at Kirsty's.
Oooh! Delicious!
ReplyDeleteBroccoli-Craisin Wontons are my favourite! LOL. You can't go passed a pasta back for using up stuff in the pantry. You can disguise all sorts with a cheese sauce.
ReplyDeleteLoving your floral blog header. So fresh!
always good to try new food combinations!!! you never know what new favourites you might come up with!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny! Good luck with the move :) Kx
ReplyDeleteKitchen creativity totally counts, my chicken-loving friend. I like your new header too - must be a new season...
ReplyDeleteArgh! I'm not at all creative in the kitchen, it's really one of my least favourite places to spend time. The sooner the kids learn to cook the better!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful new banner Wendy!! I love it! Those craisin wontons sound very very creative to me...not so sure if edible but definetely creative;0) he,he. Good luck w the last bits n pieces of moving organising.
ReplyDeleteMmmmm.... Broccoli-Craisin Wontons.. they sound interesting : )
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your move.
That post merited an LOL (but next time you offer me a dinner invitation, I think I may pass!) I'm with you, however, when it comes to falafel, any time, any where... have you ever tried shaping the "batter" into little patties, brushing them with oil and oven baking? (easier than deep frying...)
