I'm taking a little break this week to celebrate Shavuous with my family. (Think cheesecake. And Bananagrams.) The coop is milimeters away from finished...the run is attached, the roof is up, and all I need to do is add the people door and a boatload of shingles, and the chooks can send out the invitations to their coop-warming party. (Think I'm kidding? I'm inviting any dubious neighbors to meet the girls up close and personal!)
Make sure you check out the rest of the Creative Spaces on Wednesday night over at kootoyoo!
Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteA coup warming party! now there's an interesting thought! Hope you're enjoying your break!
ReplyDeleteHave fun during your break :)
ReplyDeletehaha that's great!! Yay for almost finished.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy your break with your family. Love the idea of a coop warming party. Hope the chickens get to wear party hats ;o)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy you family time!!! And can't wait to see that coop!!! :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break (cheesecake sounds good!). Good luck with finishing the coop.
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy. My tape measures come from all over the place. Some vintage, some op shopped and some from $2 dollar stores (some even from the supermarket). Some are harder to work with than others so I just grab the ones I know will work when I see them. You can guarantee they won't be there next time I go if I don't!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog :)
ReplyDeleteI've had a quick wander through yours and it's been a hoot! I'll be back.
We did the whole chicken coop thing too a little while back - I don't think DH would have forgiven me if I'd blogged about it's progress (S...L...O...W) LOL. But we love it and so do the girls. We managed to do most of it with recycled stuff (part of the reason it took so long!) but it is a real beauty - there are pics on my blog about this Easter just gone I think.
