Eight Answers:

Since I'm too lazy to think of something to blog about tonight, I figured I'd play along with Kate at Foxs Lane.
  1. Favourite meal to eat? Soup.  Lentil, black bean, veggie, potato, matzo ball...preferably hotter than normal people eat it, and preferably with my whole-wheat rolls alongside.
  2. Do you have a quirky eccentricity? I am a quirky eccentricity.
  3. My middle name is Lyn.  It was the seventies.  What can I say?
  4. I am passionate about spelling, grammar, and punctuation. How embarrassing.
  5. Thongs or Birkenstocks?  Neither.  My feet grew a half size with each of my pregnancies.  I sport a size 13, and live in my Crocs.
  6. Who was I before I had kids?  Me, but saner.  And more self-righteous.
  7. Have I ever been arrested? Nope.  Couple of speeding tickets, though, and a recent chook-related run-in with code compliance...(Don't worry.  All settled.)
  8. This weekend I will try to get my orders for camp finalized.  Do some more packing.  Make something I don't have time for.  Eat too much.  Sleep less than I should.

  5. Love getting to know you a little bit better. I wear Crocs as well, mine are brown.

Also, off topic, the pattern I used for the dresses I made was New Look 6578 (or similar to it anyway) not sure if the original pattern is reversible but you can just make it reversible.

  7. Ha Ha! Seems the more I learn about you, the more similar we are! My pet hate is bad spelling and grammar too! Especially when people put your, when they mean you're. Nerd alert! Have you seen the new flocked crocs? I wasn't a fan until I saw the new styles! Have a sane and peaceful week xo

  9. I don't get speeding tickets, because I'm a little-old-lady type driver. And I prefer whole wheat bread to whole wheat rolls. Other than that, we are clones :)

  11. The "everyday" Crocs are pink (and due to be replaced.) The dressy ones (snort!) are copper-colored and are this type: http://www.crocs.com/crocs-alice-work/11050,default,pd.html?cid=001&cgid=women-footwear-flats

  12. HOLY WOW!! They MAKE Crocs in your size??? Well I guess if they make 'em to fit Dad, they make 'em to fit you. :P

Trust me, everyone... she's the same as when we were kids, just an older version. ;) and nicer... or maybe *I* am more tolerant. That could be one of MY 8. Guess I'm gonna go read what the 8 are supposed to be and answer 8, too!

  13. lovely eight. i don't think i know anyone who gained half a shoe size with pregnancy. i think you may well be a quirky eccentricity. please forgive the absence of capital letters. i don't use them on my blog at all. i don't know why. i think i may well be a quirky eccentricity.

  14. Ah I enjoyed reading your 8.

I have secretly loved spelling, grammar and punctuation since I was 9. I went on to train as an English teacher so I could preach the virtues of the semi-colon. (My blog belies this as I routinely and wantonly butcher sentence structure.)

My feet also grew after childbearing. What arch could really hope to survive a 10lb baby?

Glad to hear that you weren't arrested or thrown into the (chicken) pen over the chook infringment!

Thanks for taking the time to comment...it makes me feel a little less like I'm talking to myself again.
